Who am I

I bring over two decades of experience in the medical field to my work as an addiction counselor, including nine years of service in the U.S. Army as a medic. Those years taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of meeting people where they are—with compassion and clarity.

My journey has always been about helping others in real, practical ways. I believe recovery should be rooted in approaches that honor the whole person, not outdated or rigid methods. My counseling style blends evidence-based practices with genuine care, ensuring that each client feels seen, supported, and empowered to create lasting change.

Outside of my professional life, I find balance and renewal in the outdoors—whether paddleboarding on Oregon’s lakes, snowboarding in the mountains, or tending to my garden. These passions remind me that healing is both an inner and outer journey.

As someone who is multiracial, I value diversity and inclusivity, and I strive to create a space where every client feels welcome. My practice is built on the belief that transformation is possible when we combine courage, community, and practical tools for growth.
